MA 1 year full-time
The MA programmes are intended for honours graduates who wish to enhance their prospects of employment in the financial services sectors of Government and commerce. Designed to appeal to people who do not have specialist undergraduate preparation in formal economic theory or quantitative methods, the programmes emphasise vocational relevance and conceptual clarity in modern theory and practice.

Assessment
75% examination, 25% coursework for most modules. Students will satisfy the research requirement of the MA by examined participation in research practice.
Entry Qualification
Usually an upper second class UK honours degree. For degrees where the honours system is not used, good grades will be required. Some undergraduate preparation in an economics, finance or business discipline is normally required but well-qualified candidates from other disciplines will also be considered.
These are in addition to the General Entrance Requirements.
